At Certain times of the year there are strange, huge fish that visit the Hudson River in large numbers.
Many are here throughout the year, however the increase in numbers is
caused by the spawning sturgeon that lay their eggs on the rocky bottom of certain parts of the Hudson River.
Riverman knew when the sturgeon had arrived and sought this prize of prizes for the eggs or caviar that they provided. MORE….
