THE WEST COAST LIFTER HAS ARRIVED ON STATION AT THE TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE

The huge West Coast Lifter has arrived on station at the Tappan Zee Bridge site today October 6, 2014. Leaving its resting place on the west side of New York Harbor at 6 A M this morning it arrived at 11 AM to be greeted by the Governor of New York an other dignitaries at Piermont Pier as it passed in review.  The West Coast Lifter will be used to replace portions of the New Tappan Zee Bridge.
