The land now occupied by Cortlandt Yacht Club (CYC) has existed as a marina on the Hudson River since the early 1960’s. What is now Cortlandt Yacht Club began in 1963 with the formation of the Montrose Yacht and Social Club. At that time the land was under the independent ownership and the marina had cottages and cabanas.
