YANKEE BOATING CENTER TO OPEN 5TH LOCATION AT HAVERSTRAW MARINA
Expanding Sales of Monterey, Lund and Key West brands to the Hudson Valley, Westchester County, and
Northern New Jersey
Lake George, NY, November 4, 2013-‐ Yankee Boating Center announced plans to open a 5th sales location
in New York State at the Haverstraw Marina. The Haverstraw
location will allow Yankee Boat to
provide sales to the entire Hudson River, from New York City to Albany, and up to Lake
Champlain and the Thousand Islands.
"We are excited to enter into this new market. We have always wanted to expand south into the
Lower Hudson River area and when this opportunity came available at the Haverstraw Marina we
knew it was the perfect time and location." said Jon Brodie, Yankee Boating Center
President. Haverstraw Marina is a 1000 slip marina located just 10 miles from the Tappan Zee
Bridge, and 25 miles from Long Island Sound and Manhattan. Jon says, It's amazing facilities and
close proximity to everything made it an ideal location for expansion."
Yankee Boating Center will sell Monterey Bowriders and Cruisers, Lund Aluminum Fishing boats,
Key West Fiberglass Center Consoles and Bowriders, as well as additional brands that fit the
surrounding market area.

Yankee Boating Center has been in business since 1966 started by Bob and Sheila Brodie in their
garage selling small sailboats. Through the years they have expanded with locations in Lake
George, Albany, Clayton (Thousand Islands), and now Haverstraw. Today, the company is owned
by 2 of their children, Jon and Andrew Brodie, and operated with customer service as their #1
