For more than 150 years, the Saratoga Race Course has been a major tourist attraction not only for thoroughbred horse racing fans but for tourists from up and down the Hudson River corridor looking for a unique, historic experience. The “Track”, as it is locally known, takes visitors back in time to 1800s ambience and charm, yet contains all the 21st century accoutrements needed for a first-class racing experience. This year’s meet commences on Friday, July 21 and runs through Monday, September 4, 2017.
