Boy Oh Boy, AWETTER Spring

I CAN’T REMEMBER!

For those of you who still have vinylboat tops,

bayliner used that for years . If you are interested,

i can still get vinyl for those of you who may

just want to replace the bimini, which usually

goes first. I also can get white vinyl or off white.

These are usually backed with a gray denim. Vinyl

is made with oil during production, when the oil

sometimes leaks from vinyl.

Vinyl is hard to keep looking new, however

there is a product you can buy in the hardware

store, called spray nine.

Customers were telling me how white their tops

areagain. If one person in a marina uses it then

others in the marina will want to tr y whatever

that was that got so the top so clean. Well,in

a year or two the tops were turning crispy and

some were peeling like a bad sunburn.

The moral of this stor y is, if it doesnt come

clean with good old ivor y and warm water,

leave it be!

Tattletail gray lasts alot longer then snow

white.

Would you all like to hear about our

adventures on our 53ft elco, a ghost on board

and all.

Whoops, i’ve run out of space, if you want

to know what happened, just say yes on my

email.
